A native Cape Codder, Quinn found her way back to the Cape after graduating from Cornell University where her studies concentrated in European political and cultural histories. As a collegiate athlete Quinn sustained a number of sports-related injuries that led her to discover yoga as a path to promote healing in the body by creating harmony between strength and flexibility, while also exploring the dynamic relationship between action and stillness. Her yoga classes are often infused with philosophical and textual foundations from the rich history of yoga. She strongly believes in the healing power of mindful and intelligent movement, as well as the potent nature of positive thinking.
Quinn completed her initial 200 hour training in 2016 through Asheville Yoga Center in North Carolina. She continues to further her education through programs at AYC, as well as by studying with New Mexico based Tias Little and a variety of senior teachers in Boston.
She loves growing and eating plants, backpacking, and spending as much time possible in the great outdoors - all things she considers essential to living a happy and healthy life.
