As the New England Winter chill sets in, our yoga escape to the remote tropical paradise of Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula awaits you. You can preview the retreat details here!

If you’re interest is peaked, here is a preview of our retreat itinerary at the gorgeous Sanctuary at Two Rivers (you must check this place out!) to entice you. At the essence of our retreat is deepening your knowledge of the yoga tradition and development of self-practice to harmonize each participant’s unique individual needs. In service of this intention, each retreater will meet with us for one session of private instruction during our retreat.

To create the most intimate and serene retreat experience, we will have the entire eco-lux Sanctuary to ourselves, the ultimate escape to reflect, recuperate, and reboot.

I am so proud of the content this retreat, a sweet blend of study, self-practice, exploration, rest, connection, and fun. I’m especially thrilled to be visiting this unique and special retreat center, directed by my amazing friend and classmate from St. George’s School, Liz Lindh. We have been working on this collaboration for years, so incredibly wonderful that it is finally happening!

There will be a group of us traveling from Boston leaving March 11th, staying in Montezuma the night if the 11th, and returning to Boston March 18th. If you are interested in traveling with us let me know and I will send you flight details.

Sunday, March 12th
10 am - 6pm - Arrival at The Sanctuary, settle into your tree house, explore the beach or waterfalls on your own or simply lounge by the pool
7 pm - Dinner
8-9:30 pm - Opening circle and gentle lunar travel recovery practice

Monday, March 13th
6:30 am – Self-service coffee and tea
7-9 am – Morning solar practice – The Chakras
9 am – Breakfast
10 am -1 pm  - Waterfall Wellness Ritual
2 pm – Lunch
3 – 5 pm – Open time for siesta, pool lounging, treatments, private sessions
5-6:30 pm - Afternoon lunar practice – The Chakras
7 pm - Dinner
8-9:30 pm - Movie in the Pagoda

Tuesday, March 14th
6:30 am – Self-service coffee and tea
7-9 am – Morning solar practice – The Koshas
9 am – Breakfast
10 am -1 pm  - Hike to beach
2 pm – Lunch
3 -5 pm – Open time for siesta, pool lounging, treatments, private sessions
5-6:30 pm -  Afternoon lunar practice – The Koshas
7 pm - Dinner

Wednesday, March 15th
6:30 am – Self-service coffee and tea
7:45 am - Breakfast
8:15 am - Depart for boat trip to Tortuga Island (Boat ride, snorkeling and beach picnic at Tortuga Island is $65 per person, including transportation and lunch. This is an all day trip. We will return to The Sanctuary by 5:30. This excursion is optional)
7 pm - Dinner
8-10 pm - Evening lecture in the Yoga Pagoda - Ayurveda: Adapting your practice to harmonize your dosha. Followed by restorative practice and yoga nidra.

Thursday, March 16th
6:30 am – Self-service coffee and tea
7-9 am – Morning solar practice – The Vayus
9 am – Breakfast
10 am-1 pm  - Hike to the waterfalls
2 pm – Lunch
3 -5 pm – Open time for siesta, pool lounging, treatments, private sessions

Friday, March 17th

7-9 am – Morning solar practice – Abyasa – developing self-practice
9 am – Breakfast
10 am-1 pm - Guided hike to the beach
2 pm – Lunch
3 -5 pm - Open time for siesta, pool lounging, treatments, private sessions
5-7 pm - Afternoon Practice – Mysore style self-practice
7 pm - Dinner
8-9:30 - Closing circle and restorative practice

Saturday, March 18th
