Fall Equinox Yoga, Cacao & Sound Ceremony with Petra & Special Guest Dani Reardon

Flow into Fall with Intention

The fall equinox marks the transition between summer and fall - when the Earth’s two hemispheres receive the sun’s rays equally, and night and day are approximately equal in length. In congruence with the shift of season and planetary alignment, we take time to pause and observe the liminal space through aligned yoga practice, cacao ceremony, and healing sound experience.

We begin with gentle movement and breath awareness to align with the balancing energy of this astronomical event. Following the medicine of movement, we enter into the cacao ceremony with Dani. Cacao is ceremonial chocolate from South America, an ancient tradition imbibed during special times of a person's life, or special times of the year, like the equinox. Cacao is a heart opening plant medicine that connects us deeply to nature, ourselves and one another.

We then move into supported restorative poses to receive the deeply healing benefits of sound. Sound is a powerful tool that permeates all layers of our being to promote mental relaxation, physical rejuvenation, emotional release, and cellular recalibration. This unique combination of movement, sound, and cacao promises to be absolute magic from the inside out.

Do you need to balance and replenish after a busy summer? Join us and make the transition from the outward energy of summer to an introspective fall with grace, ease, and clear intention.

About Dani Reardon:

Dani is a yoga instructor, sound practitioner and ceremony facilitator. Her greatest passion is, being a student of these modalities. Second is sharing her heart, lessons, and energy with as many people as she can through the practices of yoga, sound, and ceremony. Connecting with, and loving her tribe is her superpower, and one of her favorite things she gets to do is live a life of service through these practices. After her career as a professional athlete, she discovered the world of yoga, plant medicine, and the infinite possibilities available through sound. If she is not on the Cape, she is studying in Arizona and Peru with her teachers. Music is at the heart of everything she does. Her life completely changed now that she can create her own music and sounds, while actually being helpful to the community receiving it. Her sound and medicine ceremonies are intentional, deep, creative, prayerful, and where she truly gets to live on the edge of herself and what it means to be of service.
