Yin + Restorative Sound Bath with Deep Relaxation with Lynne Begier

2-hour Workshop
All Levels

Join Lynne for an immersion of deep rest, release and the healing vibrations of a Sound Bath. Yin and Restorative Yoga practices are an opportunity to connect with the more quiet, lunar side of ourselves.

It is common to chase life around and to be as busy as we can be while we leave ourselves feeling depleted and disconnected. In this workshop we will refill our reserves as we take time to set up each pose and then will marinate in each pose for about 3 to 5 minutes. During each pose Lynne will play the Sound Bowls and other instruments - the bowls will work to release energetic and physical holding throughout the entire body. You can think of the Sound Bath as a deeply guided meditation where the sound of the bowls brings you inside of yourself. And you find yourself at home and at ease with "the support" of the bowls. Class will end with an extended Savasana Sound Bath.

No previous experience Required - All levels are welcome - If you are working with an injury or limitation please attend and allow yourself to be supported.

COST: $45

About Lynne Begier:

Lynne began her yoga teacher career in 2001 after completing her 1st of many teacher training in August of that year at Kripalu . Shortly thereafter she was pummeled into a new world after the events of 9/11. She was working a corporate job and realized she had so much that she wanted to offer. Her corporate job gave her the confidence to step forward into unknown territory to open a yoga studio. There weren't any yoga studios in Boston that had her vision. She wanted to create something with many disciplines of yoga and Lynne was equally enamored with chanting and Bhakti Yoga so she wanted to include that as well. She signed a lease for Back Bay Yoga at 1112 Boylston Street in November of 2001 and opened in January of 2002. She led the team at BBY until she sold the studio in 2015. It became clear that stepping down from this intense leadership role would allow her to grow and expand as a practitioner, teacher and allow her to expand her heart. She has spent many years learning under Ana Forrest and Tias Little and has since focused her energy more deeply into meditation, sound healing and aromatics. Her teachers led her to exactly where she needed to be and she is so grateful for their trust and guidance. She has been spending time in ceremony over the last year in Costa Rica and Mexico and is excited to share this work with the Yoga Communities.
